Why is a woman so spectacularly dressed standing alone in the middle of a field? Only Lucas knows for sure, but chances are pretty good especially once you factor in the height of her heels that her hat is gone for good. Regardless of artistic reasoning, Lucas' windswept promotion for the spring fashions available at the Baden department store is a remarkable achievement with little more than flattened perspective and shades of blue and gold (and a bit of red hair for further contrast), he achieves both haute couture and intriguing narrative.
