Condition: minor tears, abrasions, and losses.

Provenance: Paul Madden.

Note: An old paper label affixed to the reverse notes that the newspaper used to back the portrait (a technique Williams often employed), is from an 1817 issue of the Elizabethtown (New Jersey) Journal.
