Condition Report

The work has been taped onto a supporting board with two tabs at the upper horizontal edge, affixed to the underside of the sheet. There are two visible creases, one measuring approximately 3cm towards the lower right-hand edge, and another longer and slightly more visible diagonal crease in the bottom left-hand corner, and when viewed unmounted there is a small fold at the bottom right-hand edge of the sheet. There is some surface dirt across the sheet, and scattered foxing throughout, most apparent towards the lower left corner. There is time-staining to the sheet, apparent only when viewed unmounted. The graphite appears to be strong, and subject to the above the work appears to be in good condition. The work is presented in a window mount, in a simple, square-profile, natural wood frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
