As an ex-Londoner, Michael moved to rural Somerset in the 1950s. Since then he has cultivated a deep appreciation and love of the rural world and has been painting wildlife since the age of ten. He later moved to Warwickshire where he now lives with his wife. His work is much sought after by the general public and collectors alike. He has exhibited extensively, primarily in the Home Counties, the Cotswolds and in Central London galleries. Paintings have already been sold in Europe, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Moscow and Japan. Through the prestigious London gallery of H C Dickens, more paintings have been sold in the USA. Limited and unlimited editions of prints have been produced by companies such as Rosenstiel's, Solomon & Whitehead, and Dayfold Publications.
