Michal Helfman holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and has studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The present work combines a modernist sculptural simplicity, through form and sleek material, with a contemporary aesthetic, visible in the animal's radiating eyes, like car headlights, and the unconventional use of a lightweight polymer as medium.
