(b.1891) "Mending China" Signed with the artist's monogram and inscribed on an exhibition label verso with the airtst's name and the title of the work, oil on canvas, 46cm by 36.5cm Exhibited at the Russell Cotes Art Gallery, Bournemouth, 24th March - 26th May 1956 "Eminent Living Artist's Exhibition" Born Ealing, Middlesex, educated Eastbourne, Sussex and lived at Prenteg, North Wales. Studied art at the Slade School of Art, the Byam Shaw School of Art, and Paris, exhibiting prolifically at the R.A., Royal Society of British Artist's, the Royal Pastel Society, the National Portrait Society etc. See illustration
