For years, Swiss artist Monika Sennhauser has been exploring the course on sunlight, by means of drawing, photographing, filming or experimenting. Offered wood cut from 1988 seems to follow this idea of documenting the sunlight, since it displays in bright colors light-like reflections and refracted rays of light.

The work is signed and dated at the lower right ‘Monika Sennhauser 1988’ as well as inscribed at the lower left ‘für Herr Kovacs’; both in pencil. It is in a very good condition with minimal damages. The lower edge bears unobtrusive handling creases. The sheet filling image dimensions are 50.8 x 66 cm. (nlu)
