Description

Produced between 1864 and 1870, this revolver is chambered for the 32 Teat-fire cartridge, a special cartridge designed by Daniel Moore and David Williamson. Standard "NATIONAL ARMS Co BROOKLYN. N.Y." mark on top of the barrel and "D. WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JUNE 5 - MAY 17 1864" around the rear edge of the cylinder. Blue barrel and cylinder with light engraving on the barrel lug and on the top at the barrel at the breech and silver plated brass frame with scroll and punch dot engraving. "26762 is stamped on the underside of the barrel and "IQ 62" is marked on the frame under the grips, and on the back of the smooth bird's head grips. Fixed blade front and hammer notch rear sights and equipped with the hook extractor mounted on the right side of the frame.
