Description

inscribed #195 verso. Kozman was friend of Moholy-Nagy and was one of the first graduates of the Institute of Design. He later taught there. His work is in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Library of Congress, and the Bloch Gallery (Northwestern). An example of his work is illustrated in Moholy’s book, "Vision and Motion". REF: American Abstract Art of the 1930s and 1940s (J. Nichols collection), Wake Forest University (two examples illustrated).
