(German/American, 1832-1932) "American Winter Sports. Deer Shooting 'On the Shattagee' (Northern New York)," 1855, (Conningham, 209). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Lithograph with hand-coloring heightened with gum arabic on paper, sheet size 22 1/2 x 29 5/8 in., framed. Condition: Margins 1 3/4 in. or more, unobtrusive staining (especially visible on the reverse), several paper tape/hinges to edges.
