Description

Manufactured between 1864 and 1870. Blade and hammer notch sights, with the one line address on top of the nickel finished barrel. Scroll and punch dot engraving is present on the barrel, frame and cylinder, with smooth birds-head grips.

Gauge: 32 teat-fire
Finish: silver/gold
Grips: hardwood
Serial Number: 22128
Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 90% of the original silver, with mild flaking, 30% of the gilt cylinder finish on the cylinder, with a dull gray patina on the remainder, and 70% silver on the frame, showing a deep aged patina on the silver and exposed brass. Mild handling marks overall. Grips are very good, with some extensive varnish loss and dings. Mechanically fine.
