Description

base, 4" x 8.5" x 4.5", signed. Arnold was a St Louis sculptor who studied at Cranbrook Academy and with Carl Milles. He was a member of the St Louis Artist Guild and the Minneapolis Sculptors Group. He exhibited from the 1930s-60s, at the Worlds Fair New York, Architectural League, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Plastic Exhibition: Made in the USA (Russia, 1960), and the national Church Architectural Conference. His work is included in public collections in Kansas City, St Louis, Minneapolis, and in Wisconsin.
