NICHOLAS LUISI (American, 1894-1977) "FISHERMEN REPAIRING NETS, ITALIAN DOCKS, GLOUCESTER, MASS." Casein painting of harbor scene shows eight men on dock handling a large net. Two large fishing schooners are beside the dock and buildings on piers are seen beyond. Signed lower right "N. Luisi". Housed in a silver gilt wood frame with double matte. Title with other informatteion on back of backing board. PROVENANCE: Acquired by consignor directly from the artist's family. SIGHT SIZE: 14-3/4" x 21-3/4". CONDITION: Very good. 9-74438 LG
