This photograph was taken at the border control between East and West Berlin at the Friedrichstrasse train station. Together with Andrej Sakharov and Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Kopelev was one of the most important dissidents of the late Soviet Union. During a stay in Germany when he was invited by Heinrich Böll and Marion Gräfin Dönhoff, he was expatriated by the Soviet Union. - Excellent condition.
