Noah North (1809-1880) imitated the work of the accomplished folk artist Ammi Phillips, who painted in the Connecticut and Albany, New York, from 1811-1865. Noah North worked chiefly in the western counties of New York State. His work is similar to that of Milton Hopkins (1789 to 1844) who was also from that region.

Repaired frames with missing veneer, paintings loose and in need of restoration. 38 x 33 (w/frame).
