Lot 1175: ***NODDER, F.P.

(18th/19th Century English) Two handcolored etchings, each depicting moth, approximate plate size of each 3 3/4'' x 6 1/4'', frame 11'' x 14'', both most likely come from a book, each bears small numbers extreme upper right plate, only one piece is identified and dated 1799 in the plate.

Both pieces have newer mats and frames, couple small areas of discoloration to one etching, other etching has pale light toning throughout, unexamined out of frame.
