A corner of the square at Casteil. Oil on canvasboard, signed in the lower right and dated 1929, approx. 15" x 18", framed in a gilt frame overall approx. 21-1/4" x 24-1/4". Inscribed with the title, signed and dated verso, "Casteil by the Cady river on the slopes of Mt. Canigou in the Eastern Pyranees".
