NSIKAK ESSIEN (b. 1957) THE AFRICAN Mixed media on board 140 x 122 cm. (55 x 48 in.) Signed (lower left) Nsikak graduated from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu and was employed there as a member of the fine arts faculty. Retiring in 1991 to practice as a fulltime studio artist, he also became a member of the Enugu based 'AKA' group of exhibiting artists. He is known for his mixed media works and stained glass technique.-OO
