American early 19th C. Stamped en verso "Portrait by B. OTIS. Philad.", enclosed in circle of 8" polychrome paint dabbed "thumbprints". Framed in original lemon gold deep cove portrait frame. Accompanied by Catalogue Raisonne.
Condition: Portrait with all over craquelure and small areas of paint flake and loss, frame with worn surface. S: 29-1/2" H x 24" W
O: 39- 3/4" H x 34- 1/2" W
