Vintage Oil on Canvas Eastern Shore Maryland Canadian Geese by G. Carroll Thamert Sr.(1926-2010). In real barn wood frame. In frame measures 34"x21"x1". Weight 7 pds. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate. Mr. Thamert was best known for being a self-taught artist of wildlife. At the time of his death, he had painted more 3,000 oil paintings, as well as hundreds of carved signs that are located all over the United States, Germany, Japan and various other places around the world.
