*Olga Lehmann (1912-2001) A CENTAUR Signed with initials l.l., gouache 21.5 x 23cm Born in Chile, Lehmann moved to England in 1929 and was awarded a scholarship to the Slade School of Fine Art. She specialised in stage sets, mural painting and portraiture. For many years she lived in Great Sampford. She died in Saffron Walden in 2001.
