OTAKAR NOVOTNÝ CZECH 1880 - 1959 SUITE OF CZECH OAK DINING CHAIRS AND A CIRCULAR EXTENSION TABLE, TOGETHER WITH AN EN SUITE CZECH CUBIST OAK THREE-CUSHION SOFA ( SOUPRAVA DUBOVÝCH ŽIDLÍ A KULATÉHO STOLU, POLSTROVANÉ KUBISTICKÉ SOFA Z BUKOVÉHO DŘEVA) The table with circular top with tapering reeded edge, on tapering faceted square legs enclosing a pedestal on a concave-sided stretcher, with two leaves; the dining chairs comprising four side chairs and two armchairs, each with faceted stepped pedimented crest above a concave back and trapezoidal seat, on faceted splayed legs; together with a Czech Cubist oak three-cushion sofa en suite , designed by George Novotny, circa 1930, with panel back and arms, on tapering faceted legs.
