carved in bas-relief, depicting Bacchus and Ariadne making a libation to Priapus; Venus, Vulcan and Cupid; Pluto abducting Proserpine on a horse drawn chariot; the Rape of Europa (by Jupiter in the guise of a bull, with cupid in attendance), and Mercury bringing the Golden Apple to Paris (dressed as a shepherd), each mounted in a later faux marble and gilt decorated rectangular frame, 46.5cm wide x 15cm high (5)
