Lot 15: PAIR OF FINE GUSTAV MULLER PORTRAIT PAINTINGS

MULLER, Gustav, (German, 1811-): Pair of Excellent 19th C. Portraits of a Male and Female: Oils/Canvas, 11 1/2'' x 9 3/8'', encased in period gilded frames with major wear damage and over-paint, only the female painting is signed.

There is damage to the surface of the male painting, visible damage appears to be caused by some sort of thinner, stripper or some sort of paint dilutor, female painting has damage as well, but not nearly the same extent, cracklure throughout, sold as is.
