Japan. Tani Buncho (1763-1841) attributed
Ink and colors on silk. 65 x 26.5 cm. From Buncho many of such miniaturized copies
(shuzuku) or sketches of Chinese paintings are recorded. Inscriptions: Following the
example of the Ming painter Lu Baoshan (Lu Zhi 1496-1576). Sign.: Bunchô. Seal: Bunchô.
Framed with glass. Condition B. Browned, broken and wrinkled.
