Percy Horton, British, 1897-1970- Portrait of a woman sewing (recto), figure study of a male nude (verso); oil on canvas, 76.5x50.5cm Note: Percy Horton's work has been well exhibited, during WWII he was asked to produce a series of scenes from war factories, the collection of which is now in the Imperial War Museum, he has also been part of group shows at the RA, NEAC, RSBA and Ashmolean, and is on permanent display at the Tate, National Portrait Gallery and Arts Council.
