The offset print is in a very good condition. The sheet filling image dimensions measure 100 x 70 cm.

Peter Kamm (b. 1958)
Kamm grew up in the Canton of Thurgau and trained as stonemason, but only later he really works in this métier. At first he was politically active in the squatter scene and autonomous groups. Since 1984 he works as stonemason and draughtsman. He has been awarded with several prizes, such as 1986 the promotional award of the City of St. Gallen, or only recently in 2011 the Recognition Award of the St. Gallischen Kulturstiftung. His drawings and sculptures rank from figurative to geologic-biologic to amorphous and have been on display in many galleries, both abroad and at home. Often Kamm works collectively with representatives of other professions. The focus of his art is on politics, science, philosophy and theory and thus he gives his works a contemporary relevance, which is in contrast to the dogma and tradition of stone carving. (nlu)
