PETERS Otto (5. 10. 1882 Dolce near Prestice - 1952) Pastoral scene Oil on canvas, oval 84 x 98 cm, framed, dated 1919, signed lower left. Czech painter, he studied under professor E. K. Liska, F. Jenewein and J. Schikaneder at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Prague, he painted portraits of significant personalities - e.g. President T. G. Masaryk, the Prime minister Svehla, Dr. Kramar, Dr. Soukup, Rudof Medek etc. He exhibited his work in Klatovy in 1925, with J.U.V. at the Rubes Salon and at Unie in Prague. See T 2/263, V 3/572.
