Vienna Views of Vienna Photographer: Ferdinand Küss (1800 - 1886) and Michael Frankenstein (1843 - 1918). Views of Vienna. 1865-1870s. 3 albumen prints. Each circa 18,5 x 24 cm and 26 x 21 cm. Mounted to card, 2 with name of the photographer below the image on the mount. The images include a rare early view of the Nordbahnhof (built 1858 - 1865), shortly after its completion in 1865, Schönbrunn Castle and the Palace of the Prince of Würtemberg, which today houses the Hotel Imperial. In 1965 the Nordbahnhof station, which was badly damaged in WWII, was torn down and replaced by the Prater-Stern train station. - Larger print slightly faded in edges, otherwise in very good condition and with strong contrasts.
