***PICARD, HUGUES
(1841-1900 French) Barbizon landscape, framed oil on canvas, approximate image 21 1/2'' x 25 3/4'', frame 27'' x 31'', housed in a Newcomb-Macklin frame, signed lower right and dated 1887.

Conserved/restored, a couple small areas of over-cleaning, light to moderate scattered paint cracklure, shrinkage where there has been fill-in with new paint, one small horizontal tear restoration measuring 2 1/4'' located at the top center right near frame edge, vertical thin tear in lower left center with inpaint, 2'' thin line of paint flaking bottom right center, horizontal 1/2'' tear with inpaint on bottom right center, Newcomb-Macklin frame has been repainted and has surface wear.
