HUNTER HARPOONING WALRUS, stone, ivory, antler, sinew, signed in Roman, damaged, 3" x 15.75" x 5" - 7.6 x 40 x 12.7 cm.
Provenance: The Balt collection, CA
Note: Between the years of 1964 to 1977 the Balts worked as a nurse and a teacher/Federal Government representative in Ivuyivik, Great Whale River and Rankin Inlet. They acquired carvings directly from the artists.
