PJOTR C. STOJANOW (Russian, Late 19th Century) THE AMBUSH. Oil on canvas winter scene shows a group of cossacks attacking a horse and rider while another horse gallops away without rider. Signed lower left "C. Stojanow". Housed in a good period gilt decorated frame. Attached to back is a Certificate of Authenticity from Nathan Daniel Isen. SIZE: 20-3/4" x 31".
