With a palpable nod to the composition of Toulouse-Lautrec, Williamson depicts a jaunty view of a chorus girl seen from the orchestra pit. The dynamic composition includes the formation of the line of dancing girls, the conductor's outstretched arms and the improbably balanced form of the central figure.
