Morell was one of the most prolific Spanish travel poster designers in the late 1920s, 30s and 40s. His style varied from impeccable Art Deco stylizations to brightly colored, boldly rendered figures and vistas. He also designed posters during the Spanish Civil War. Along Spain's northern coast, Asturias is renowned for its rugged mountainous landscape as well as its beaches.
