Lot 1541: POWER, TYRONE

1541. TYRONE POWER Lot of 2 T.L.S. dated July 14 and 31, 1947 written to his friend Hollywood film editor Watson Webb, Jr. regarding a donation to the American Veterans Committee. The first is a lengthy request for donations signed in full "Tyrone Power", explaining who is AVC and the work that they do. The letter is co-signed by Sy Bartlett and Gene Markey. The second letter is a brief thank you note for the received donation written on Power's personal embossed letterhead and original transmittal envelope. Both letters in near fine condition.
