PAIR LITHOS, HANDCOLORED - Portraits of Native American Representatives at the 1821 Washington DC conference by Charles Bird King (DC, 1785-1862), from the folios published by E. Biddle in Philadelphia, printed by Bower, including portraits of 'Julcee-Mathla, A Seminole Chief' and 'Opothle Yoholu, A Creek Chief', in fine gilt ribbed frames with acanthus leaf corners, French lined and marbled mats, glazed, SS: 16" x 11 3/4", OS: 28" x 23 3/4", very good condition, text shadow on the second only, as issued in book.
