NOTE

These images were taken by Kratzman, a news photographer, while on assignment for an article regarding water problems in the territories. They depict a group of children swimming in an algae-covered pool. Smadar Sheffi, in a review of the exhibition of these photographs, noted a curious relationship to early modernism: "The algae dots give the surface a dense, pointillist appearance (á la Seurat), but the children themselves are far removed from the depicitions of bathers.."
