Ruslan Sayenko was born in 1933 (Tashkent, USSR) Basic education he got in Leningrad (1951-1959). After graduation, he moved to Kiev, where continued his high education. In Leningrad, his teachers were pupils of the famous coryphaeuses of the Russian Avant-garde Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin and Pavel Filonov, Alexeander Osmerkin, who formed young Ruslan as an artist. Ruslan Sayenko participated in various profile exhibitions in the USSR and abroad, including Brussels, Moscow, etc. His works were acquired by many state museums of USSR, later Ukraine and Russia and also various private collections of France, the Netherlands, Israel and Indonesia. He lives and works in Kiev.
