Notes

This work was the entrance piece for the exhibition Sense and Sensibility: Women Artists and Minimalism in the Nineties, curated by Lynn Zelevansky. This exhibition featured artists Polly Apfelbaum, Mona Hatoum, Jac Leirner, Claudia Matzko, Rachel Whitehead and Andrea Zittel. Together these artists convey a form of feminist agenda which, drained of anger and machismo, is interpreted through a minimalist aesthetic.
