Lot 293: [ Railwayana ]

A worksplate, Vulcan 4753, 1936, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8076, BR 48076, new to Toton on 22 December 1936. Its later sheds included Westhouses, Normanton, Stourton, Mirfield, Farnley Junction and Royston from where it was withdrawn on 4 November 1967. It was sold to Cashmores, Great Bridge and taken into their yard on 1 May 1968. Cast brass, 9"x5 1/4", cleaned and polished.
