Reichenbach (Heinrich Gottlieb Ludwig, 1793-1879). Fratercula cornitulata [Puffin], pencil and watercolour drawing, manuscript title below image, 145 x 145mm, mounted, framed and glazed with Tryon Gallery label on verso of frame. Reichenbach was the Director of the Botanical Garden at Dresden. This drawing was used in his ÔVollstandigste Naturgeschichte der VogelÕ published in 1845-57. (1)
