NC Sales Tax
We are required to charge North Carolina sales tax at the current rate unless you provide us with a valid resale number at registration. No sales tax is charged for purchases shipped out of state. Property picked up at John Auctions LLC in Pittsboro is subject to North Carolina sales tax, even if you live out-of-state (unless you provide us with a valid resale number).
Payment
All payments are due immediately, in full, in U.S. Funds. If you are an absentee, phone bidder, or online bidder and have won an item, we will charge your credit card immediately, unless you instruct us otherwise.
John Auctions LLC accepts cash & personal check (in-house bidding/pick-up only), cashier's check, money orders, Visa, MasterCard. The Buyer's Premium is part of the purchase price, as is sales tax if applicable. We reserve the right to hold all goods paid for by check until payment has cleared.
Shipping Terms
ALL items won by bidder will be shipped through the United States Post Office Insured Mail and/or Registered Mail UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED BY BUYER.

Buyer is responsible for paying ACTUAL shipping cost (postage AND insurance), which will be charged to the buyer's credit card as soon as the item is shipped.

The buyer should rely entirely on their own inspection, research, and information BEFORE BIDDING.

RETURNS:
All sales are final. It is your responsibility to inspect an item for condition or authenticity before purchasing it. No refunds are given.

Bidders are responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on. Bidder should NOT bid if they are unsure of what they are bidding on. Once you have won the bid you have effected a contract and WILL BE expected to pay for this item.

The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in ANY increment he feels is in the best interest of his clients, the seller.

All announcements made on the DAY of the auction take precedence over any printed material.
