CONDITIONS
Leland Little Auctions, Ltd. has endeavored to accurately describe the items being sold, but all property offered for sale is strictly "as - is" "where - is" with all faults. All sales are final and no refunds are given. The sales records and recordings shall be conclusive. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition/authenticity of each item. No statement in this catalogue or by representatives of LLA, Ltd. shall be considered as a warranty or assumption of liability. Written and oral descriptions given by LLA, Ltd. staff members are given as a courtesy to a client, are only an opinion, and should not be considered as a guarantee of age, composition, or authenticity. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear or imperfections. By bidding, you signify that you have either closely examined the items, have chosen not to examine them, or have hired an independent agent to examine the item(s) for you. Condition reports are available via the online catalog or by contacting the LLA, Ltd. office.

TERMS
Sales are subject to the following terms and conditions of sale: Bidding is available by live in-house bidding, absentee, and telephone, with an 18% buyer's premium, and live internet bidding is available with a 23% buyer's premium. Payment is due at the end of the auction by cash, approved certified funds, wire transfer, approved check, PayPal, Visa or MasterCard with a domestic U.S. billing address. Wire transfer fees will be incurred by the buyer. North Carolina sales tax is 7.5%.

PAYMENT
All items purchased in person must be paid for on sale day. All items purchased via absentee, phone, or live internet bidding must be paid for upon receipt of invoice and within ten business days of sale date. If a buyer fails to contact LLA, Ltd. within ten (10) business days following the sale, the credit card used to secure the bid will be charged the amount of the invoice. For items purchased through live internet bidding, LLA, Ltd. will contact and send an invoice to all winning bidders via e-mail at the completion of the auction. If paying by check, LLA, Ltd. reserves the right to hold the item(s) until the check has cleared. Payment can be made by cash, approved certified funds, wire transfer, approved check, PayPal, Visa or MasterCard with a domestic U.S. billing address. Federal law requires we report payments above $10,000 made by cash or certain other cash equivalents, such as money orders. Credit card payments are subject to a $5,000 limit. International (non-domestic United States) bidders will be required to pay by wire transfer. Wire transfer fees will be incurred by the buyer. At the auctioneer's discretion, certain lots will be required to be paid for by wire transfer.

AUCTIONEER
Leland J. Little, NCAL#6139; NCFL#7452. The auctioneer always reserves the right to withdraw a lot for any reason he deems appropriate, including any lots that may have a reserve, or if there is a lack of bidding interest or lack of appropriate bids. LLA, Ltd. shall have the right to withdraw any item at any time for any reason and to default any sale in the event of an error or dispute.

ABSENTEE AND TELEPHONE BIDS
Arrangements for absentee or phone bidding can be made at www.LelandLittle.com by 5:00 pm the day prior to sale day, or by filling out a bid form supplied by the Gallery and submitted via fax or email. No additional phone bids can be accepted on the day of the auction including additions when speaking with a staff person on the phone. Phone reservation contact numbers cannot be changed after 5:00 pm the day prior to sale day. All bids must be secured with a credit card number. All absentee bids will be executed in a fair, competitive and confidential manner. While every effort is made to execute and honor absentee and phone bids, LLA, Ltd. is not responsible for failure to execute a bid and is not liable for any losses incurred as a result of failure to execute absentee bids or failed phone reservations. All bids are time stamped. In case of identical bids, the first bid received will take precedence. Where appropriate, written bids will be rounded down to the nearest amount consistent with the auctioneer's bidding increments. NOTE: It is the bidder's responsibility to accurately record Lot Number, Bid Amount or Telephone Number on any bids submitted. LLA, Ltd. assumes no responsibility or liability in the event a bidder fails to do so. Leaving an absentee or telephone bid indicates the bidder is willing to open the bidding at one half the low estimate of the lot. Bids cannot be submitted, altered, or cancelled via voicemail.

LIVE INTERNET BIDS
Live internet bidding is available during the auction. Current bids on the internet will be executed on your behalf during the auction. LLA, Ltd. cannot be held liable for live internet bids that are not sent, received, or executed by the administrator. If you are bidding live, real-time on-line, please bid quickly because there is a time delay in receiving live bids.

RESTRICTED MATERIALS
Please note that lots containing ivory or any other plant or animal material may be subject to regulations imposed by the Endangered Species Act by the United States Fish and Wildlife Department as well as other restrictions under federal, state and/or local law. Some countries prohibit the importation of property containing materials from endangered plant or animal species and prospective purchasers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import these item(s) into another country. We also suggest that buyers in the United States check with their state's wildlife protection agency for any restrictions on the purchase, possession or sale of ivory or any other animal material. Please note that bidders in New York and New Jersey may not bid on any lots containing elephant ivory, mammoth ivory, or rhinoceros horn. Items containing ivory can only be shipped to an address in the United States. Bidders should check all applicable government wildlife restrictions prior to placing a bid. The buyer will be solely responsible for obtaining any necessary license or permits applicable to the sale or transport of the item(s) including any export or import license and/or certificates as well as any other required documentation.

ESTIMATED WEIGHTS AND MEASUREMENTS
Weights in catalogue description have been estimated through measurement and are to be used as approximate guidelines and not relied on as exact. Jewelry: Unless otherwise stated, all stones have been measured and graded in their settings. Metal weight given for jewelry includes stones unless stated otherwise. Buyers should be reminded that many colored gemstones have historically been treated to enhance their appearance. Lab reports will be referenced in catalogue descriptions.

CLOCKS AND WATCHES
No warrantee that any clock or watch is in working order is given. Virtually all clocks and watches have been repaired in the course of their lifetime and may include parts not original to them. There is no guarantee to works or movement. Unless otherwise stated, weight includes works.

OWNERSHIP
Item ownership is conveyed immediately following the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. While we try to handle and store all items with great care, LLA, Ltd. will have no liability for any loss or damage to an item after the hammer has fallen.

LOADING
Loading purchased items is the responsibility of the buyer. LLA, Ltd. will, as a courtesy, assist with the loading following the sale, but this is done at the risk and responsibility of the buyer. Arrangements for pick-up for buyers who wish to supply their own labor can be easily scheduled during gallery business hours at the registration desk. LLA, Ltd. will have no liability for any damage while providing loading assistance.

STORAGE
Unless prior arrangements are made, pick-up within 10 working days of the auction is required, or a $10.00 per lot per day storage fee will be charged. LLA, Ltd. requires two business days notice to schedule pick up of wine.

ABANDONED PROPERTY
Unless prior arrangements have been made, any lot(s) remaining at the LLA, Ltd. auction gallery more than 90 calendar days after the auction purchase date will be considered abandoned and will be resold at auction to off-set the storage fees. LLA, Ltd. is not obligated to notify the winning bidder that the abandoned lot(s) will be resold at auction.

SHIPPING
LLA, Ltd. is able to assist you with the shipment of your auction purchases. Jewelry, silver, wine and most art can be shipped in-house. Items are shipped with their declared value and full insurance per the carrier's terms and conditions. A signature is required upon delivery. The buyer is responsible for all fees. Please contact our Shipping Director for assistance with your items.

Other small items are evaluated for in-house shipping on a case-by-case basis. Please bear in mind that the LLA, Ltd. Shipping Department is small in scale. We will respond to your request in the order in which it was received. Depending on the size of the auction and complexity of your request, shipping may take several weeks from the time of initial contact. When time allows, our Shipping Director can help facilitate a quote from third party shippers for large items and any art that cannot be handled in-house. Shipping quotes are valid for 15 days.

For all shipments leaving our in-house shipping department, any and all additional charges, including but not limited to customs charges, are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. If you reside in a state or country that has import restrictions or regulations it is your responsibility to obtain appropriate licenses to import wine. If shipping wine, buyer warrants that he/she is at least 21 years of age. Buyer shall be responsible for the shipment of these wines to be received by a person at least 21 years of age. By shipping in-house you are giving LLA, Ltd. permission to charge your provided credit card for said charges.

Please be advised that LLA, Ltd. does not automatically ship items. The winning bidder must either contact our Shipping Director for assistance or submit a completed LLA, Ltd. Authorized Shipping Release Form indicating a chosen shipper or third party. No lots will be released to an outside shipper or third party without this form.

LLA, Ltd. works with a number of local and international shippers as well as delivery companies; however, LLA, Ltd. does not recommend one service over another. All packing, handling, shipping and delivery services are performed at the sole risk of the buyer. LLA, Ltd. assumes no legal or financial responsibility and is free from all liability associated with fulfilling your shipping request.
