Acquired directly from the artist in 1964

The current owner lived in Pakistan in 1962-63 developing electrical power plants throughout the region. He met and befriended Sadequain at a reception at the US Embassy. The artist subsequently visited with the owners in France in 1964 and presented these works (lots 228-230) in gratitude for his stay.
