Condition Report

Original canvas. There is a small pressure mark in the lower left corner, but otherwise the canvas appears sound. There is a diagonal line in the upper left corner that appears to relate to a paintbrush hair that was embedded in the paint surface, and subsequently lost. There is some very light surface dirt across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
