KEIZER, Jerry (Dutch 1938). Untitled, 1993. Oil on paper, signed in pencil with artist initials and dated (lower left), inscribed 'J. Keizer 1993 Amsterdam' (on the reverse, visible in a photograph mounted on the back of the frame), framed behind glass, image size 46 x 46 cm., frame size 64 x 64 cm. Good condition.

"In my idea, the painting still to be made should prove the painting already finished. That is the good about working in series: the possibility of continuous development. The works are no incidents, they constitute a whole. You could even say that I offer viewers a road travelled, from which they can make a choice. Then they can say: I recognize myself in that and would like to surround myself with it.
