Notes

Thomas Sebright, 8th Baronet of Besford, Worcestershire and Beechwood, Hertfordshire. He married, 1stly in 1842, Sarah, daughter of Capt. Hoffman RN, by whom he had one son, John, who succeeded his father as 9th Baronet. Thomas married 2ndly, in 1850, Olivia, daughter of John Henry, by whom he had four sons. In 1831, Thomas paid for the building of a new infirmary in Hemel Hempstead. In 1849, he sold 2 acres of land in Worcestershire on which the Cookley Sebright Endowed First School was built. He had an interest in Old Master paintings, which were sold at the Sebright sale, Christie's, London, 2nd July 1937.
