A Lady, seated in a chair covered with a pink throw, wearing white dress with puff sleeves, blue sash with diamond buckle in the form of a B, cream and ivory striped trim gathered with blue ribbon, a corsage of pink flowers at her left shoulder, ermine mantle draped around her arms, four strand necklace with pendant cross, diamond pendent earrings.
Signed on the obverse and dated Rochard 1831, carved wood and composition frame with acanthus leaf, scroll and bead borders.
