Edward Adrian Wilson (1872-1912) Slopes of Mount Erebus signed 'E.A. Wilson' (lower left), inscribed 'No. 270/272' on the reverse of the card mount. There was an inscription on a label on the reverse ('Antarctic sketch by / Dr.E.A.Wilson of / Capt.Scott's Expedition. / Presented to F.A.A. by Mrs Mudie-Cooke in 1935.') when sold at Christie's in 2002. watercolour on paper laid down on card unframed 5 ¼ x 8 ½in.
