With brilliant, saturated colours, Tsikoudakis creates a world where reality is fused with the metaphysical. During the 1980s, the artist fixed his attention on the depiction of neoclassical buildings in Athens and later, shifted to the portrayal of fantastic animals and birds revealing mysterious relationships that emerge when the ordinary and familiar are released from their conventional associations.

In memory of the artist, his wife will donate the proceeds of the sale to the "Doctors of the World, Greece".
